Multi-tenancy CCM and Services
Greetings I have read the document Understanding Multi-Tenancy , and have built a test environment on our development Nagios XI server. Things work for all teams as you would expect in XI, but CCM is a different matter. I am able to grant access to Host objects to users by way of assigning contacts ...

Re: Unable to apply config even after removing problem confi
Nagios support found our problem. The files in the output were not where the problem was (evident by the fact the files did not exist but still showed in the error when applying config failed). They found two incomplete config files in the directory /usr/local/nagios/etc/import/ Once these were move...

Unable to apply config even after removing problem configs
We would like to have Nagios Support look at a problem with applying a config to our Nagios XI 5.7.3 instance. When attempting to "Apply Config" within Core Config Manager, we receive these errors: Error: Invalid max_attempts, check_interval, retry_interval, or notification_interval value ...

Re: NagiosXI 5.2.2 and large AD infrastructure
A search field would work for us. If we were able to limit the original base dn to accept ou and cn fields, we could restrict Nagios view into only small subset of users.
Thanks for looking into it.

NagiosXI 5.2.2 and large AD infrastructure
I am setting up Nagios XI 5.2.2. I have gotten the integration with our active directory working. However, we have a very large infrastructure. There are 30,000 employee records alone. Unfortunately, the web interface is limited to how many records it will return. I was not able to see beyond our us...

Re: Performance Graphs for some services are broken
We have NSClient++ 0.4.1.102 deployed.
Switching to use High Charts did fix the problem. Thank you! I am having my team check graphs to make sure they don't have any problems with this style of graphs, and hopefully I can put this issue to rest.
Thank you!

Re: Performance Graphs for some services are broken
Under Admin -> System Config -> Manage System Config, the option "Use Highcharts for Perfdata Graphs" is already deselected. Am I looking in the right place?

Re: Performance Graphs for some services are broken
I deleted the XML and RRD file for one of the instances, specifically /usr/local/nagios/share/perfdata/sys-ops-util1p/Disk_Usage_-_C_10_prcnt_free_win [xml & rrd]. Both files were successfully recreated at the next check. I waited a couple of hours to allow plenty of samples to get into the RRD ...
