My boss wants to use subagents to verify services outside the standard checks, but, I am not sure where to find these subagents?? Are these like the add-ons??

I am a brand newbie to Nagios. I'd like to monitor my network using agentless snmp monitoring, but am unsure about where to find some specific and solid documentation about this topic. Can anyone help?? I will be using the check_snmp_int plugin, and I want to get started monitoring all the services ...
