Why would Event Handlers be out of scope?

I understand that there is no built-in logic to address this issue, but there must be someway to script it, right?

What it ended up being, is that the services in question were using a template they were not supposed to. So once I corrected the template settings, notifications began working.

Well, I was able to get things resolved. I ended up blowing away the old 'Active Directory' component and installed as fresh. I then tacked on an 'ad.' to my account suffix.

Basically, this ended up being my problem, the component works great.

Alrighty, first things first. I would highly suggest only modifying the AD component and settings via the Nagios web UI. Since this component is a beta and there isn't much documentation, am I on my own from this point?
