Re: Very weird check result issue after server migration
Found the issue. After changing the command, it became apparent that these services had a hostgroup configured, which set a hostgroup which is used to assign the service to a gearman worker node. After cloning the used template and removing the gearman hostgroup from it, the issue is resolved. This ...

Re: Dashboards still referring to old nagios server after ba
Scott, We migrated Postgres to Mysql on our old nagios server. After restoring a backup of our old Nagios server to a CentOS 7 Nagios server, all the home page custom url's still link the old server name. There must be a way to fix this with replacing the name of the old server with the name of the ...

Dashboards still referring to old nagios server after backup
Hello, We noticed that after a backup restore procedure (in order to migrate our CentOS 6 to CentOS 7), we are experiencing issues with dashboards. The ssl_error_log says: [Tue Jan 29 16:51:34.059550 2019] [:error] [pid 13410] [client 172.19.26.196:58225] PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function x...

Re: DFS path monitoring
Hey, You should be able to do this with NSClient++, but only when the service is running with credentials that have permissions on the dfs path you want to monitor. For example this is something I'm using to monitor if a folder contains any files: /usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_nrpe_v3 -2 -P 10240 ...

Re: After upgrdation Critical alert issue
Hello, I don't know anything of as400, but did you try running the plugin with debug switch? In https://github.com/cjt74392/check_as400/blob/master/check_as400.java : System.out.println("-d\n Be verbose (debug)\n NOTE: Needs to be one of the first arguments to work"); Grtz Willem

REST api required variables
Hello, I'm wondering why the nagiosxi/api/v1/config/service config rest api requires certain variables to be set. More specific I'm speaking about: "json": { "error": "Missing required variables", "missing": [ "max_check_attempts", "check_interv...

Re: Agent Log displaying error
Please also post the NSClient++ version, OS version, nsclient.log and the command you are using to connect to the host running this NSClient++.
My guess is that you have set:
in nsclient.ini while trying to connect without certs (nrpe v2?)
Grtz
Willem
My guess is that you have set:
Code: Select all
[/settings/NRPE/server]
insecure = true
