Re: Checks pending

Checks pending

Last night, we performed maintenance on one of our core switches which knocked out a large section of our network. NagiosXI, as expected reported the outage and lit up with alerts. After service was restored, Nagios refused to perform any updated checks and show that the service was back. We tried t...

Re: OT: Network Asset Tracking

I use Spiceworks for this. It is excellent at doing exactly what you are looking for. It is also a free product.

Re: Google maps

So should I proceed to submit a bug report, or is this something that is handled internally?

Thank you,

Google maps

On the integrated Google map, is there a way to either disable or at least de-emphasize the green(up) markers. With over 1000 of them on a map and many clustered, they are blocking out the reds which is what we are really interested in. http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd226/bcdudley/12-16-20134-5...

Bulk import - other fields

Within Nagios XI, I am trying to do a bulk import of a csv. I need to import the notes field along with other information. Is there a way to do this or to go back after they have been imported and quickly add the notes?

Nagios with MySql backend

Hello, I used to use Nagios heavily on our network of 300 users at 90 locations. I gave up on it because of the difficulty involved in maintaining the data files for all the locations. Now we have grown up and have 5000 users and 650 locations. I need to have a Nagios like program. We currently keep...
