I use Spiceworks for this. It is excellent at doing exactly what you are looking for. It is also a free product.

On the integrated Google map, is there a way to either disable or at least de-emphasize the green(up) markers. I was able to use a Sql statement to dump the data into the Mysql backend and apply the updates with that method.

Bulk import - other fields
Within Nagios XI, I am trying to do a bulk import of a csv. I need to import the notes field along with other information. Is there a way to do this or to go back after they have been imported and quickly add the notes?
