Re: Plugin Uploads over WebUI are "DOS" CR+LF formatted
Hi guys, In case everyone doesn't have access to the bug tracker, I thought I'd post some additional info here: * A file on my desktop (OSX) is written in Unix (LF) format * I upload the file using NagiosXI Web Gui "check_temp.py" * The uploaded file on nagiosxi server is now in DOS (CR+LF...

Re: Plugin Uploads over WebUI are "DOS" CR+LF formatted
I just tested this, as this is the first report I have heard, and do not have the same issues. Are you pasting the contents of files into notepad or another windows file editor prior to uploading? Have you verified the file you started with is in fact unix line endings? Hello, I'm actually working ...

Plugin Uploads over WebUI are "DOS" CR+LF formatted

Re: NagiosFusion and LDAP authentication
Great! Thanks for the writeup on how you use this in your environment, and the feature request in the middle. You could submit this idea to: http://tracker.nagios.com/ And then a developer can take a look. This is done, id: 0000417 LDAP authentication session persistency across Fusion / NagiosXI We...

Re: NagiosFusion and LDAP authentication
snip.. One question, would you use the same credentials from fusion and XI, or expect them to be different? I would see it as fusion keeps a local short term authentication token that when expired or with a new user is pulled from a valid XI server. This way sessions can be passed as they are now, b...

Re: NagiosFusion and LDAP authentication
Thanks for the tips! Glad to hear its working for you. Sure thing. Now if we could have better auth management between fusion and nagiosxi then I'd consider buying Fusion. Currently, the NagiosXI server has it's own AUTH LDAP, but when landing on the Fusion server first, then clicking onto the Nagi...
