Yes. I switched to nagios and it worked...But not from Nagios server.

where do i need to define you command...in nrpe.cfg (hpux end) or in nagios server end.

Resolved....By installing nagios freshly...

Not from the HPUX server end...Locally it is working.. Ok..How about the service...will have only /etc/init.d/nagios . so how do we restart the service if we doing any changes in one nagios.

There is no file /etc/oratab. OS is HPUX 11iV3 i defined the ORACLE_HOME is NRPE user's profile, so its working in local server not in nagios server..I couldnt find where is the issue.
