Thank you, I did see this but needed to make sure. Does this back up everything including the historical data is used within the reporting modules?

Would you be able to advise what is the best way to backup and restore the data collected by Nagios XI, in order to protect the reporting functions against possible failures.

If they are appearing in unconfigured objects, then their respective checks have not been configured correctly in the CCM.

Deleted and re-added, seems good.

grep nsca /var/log/messages

Yes, these documents have been followed to the letter and attempted using both NRDS and NSCA.

Using NRDS the checks are submitted to the central server and seen in unconfigured object but they do not appear within any views, although the entry is seen in CCM.

NSCA shows nothing.
