well, after letting it sit for a bit, it does appear to be working now.
I found another machine whose CPU graph died. Did the same think, and that looks to be working now too.
So i guess this thread can be locked.

Do you happen to know what to look for? I do not see any item for any graphing, including the items that are being graphed. i just update nagios XI yesterday to the newest version. Smooth process, no errors or anything.....
