Vendor SNMP MIBs Not Being Used

Currently using Nagios XI 2014R2.3. I have uploaded the MIBS for our PaloAlto firwalls via the Nagios XI admin interface (see here for MIBS: https://live.paloaltonetworks.com/docs/DOC-6587). I then go to the SNMP Walk wizard and the vendor mibs are not referenced in the scan as far as I can tell. Is...

Palo Alto Firewall HA Pair

Anyone consuming NetFlow from a Palo Alto Firewall HA Pair? I'm just getting the Network Analyzer configured now. In the Palo Alto admin interface you define a netflow destination on one member in the pair. The configuration is synced to the other member as well. I set this up with the source IP and...

Building Dashboards for IIS Logs

Does anyone have a walk through or pointers for building a dashboard for IIS logs similar to the one for apache? Also a starting point for breaking the collected "message" field up into queryable components? Just getting started on dashboard building and was hoping there was something in t...

Re: ElasticSearch Database and Logstash Collector Status Sto

Just an update.

I can still get you the installation log from the first install, but I did not see anything obviously wrong.

I saved the log and create a new virtual machine. I re-downloaded the tar ball just in case. Second installation went without issue.

This topic can be closed.

Re: ElasticSearch Database and Logstash Collector Status Sto

Just one instance. This was installed for evaluation. I installed CentOS 6, downloaded the Nagios Log Server tarball, and ran the installation script.

Not much has been done.

ElasticSearch Database and Logstash Collector Status Stopped

I just installed the Nagios Log Server on a clean install of CentOS 6.5. Install seemed to go fine. Logged into the web interface and the status for Elasticsearch Database and Logstash Collector under "System Status" show red exclamation points and report stopped. I click start on each and...
