Re: Bandwidth Usage Report nuisance

Hey! Finally found the time to check into this and viewed the mrtg.conf file which looks very bland. Believe I'm checking the wrong file so searching around. See below... # # This configuration file maps the mrtg output (generated daily) # into the URL space. By default these results are only access...

And for whatever reason, I don't even have the locate command, Hah. Cursed install!!! :o

Re: Bandwidth Usage Report nuisance

Hey! Sorry for the late reply! Alrighty so checked into the CCM and attached a sample image of one of the hosts services. Seems to be named correctly. Noticed something odd though. For one of my hosts (clayton-hq-1921), the services have the IP as the Config name but the description is named, not nu...

Bandwidth Usage Report nuisance

Hello again! VMWare - Nagios XI Trial, 32-bit. I have another question for anyone who is willing to put up with my posts, haha. So I've been using the Reports section quite a lot lately and find that the Bandwidth Usage Report for our company could come in very handy. The downside is that it is repo...

Re: Nagios at a standstill?

Yes I believe so, repaired the SQL like I stated and did a few reboots to see if issue would reoccur. Everything's working perfect now!
Thanks to everyone who puts up with me

Re: Nagios at a standstill?

Alrighty so backup restored in new VM. I do not believe there are any issues present, might still run the sql repair for overkill sake. I'm missing 1 or 2 switches which doesn't bother me since that's understandable. I couldn't backup the immediate DB so I reverted to one before that. Maybe that who...

Re: Nagios at a standstill?

I'll have that setup within the next two hours and report back as soon as it's back up and running again.
Would you prefer this be on a Virtual PC or VMWare Workstation?
Finally found my install files for VMWare so happy for that, not sure if either or was recommended or mattered.

Re: Nagios at a standstill?

Re: Nagios at a standstill?

Annnnnnd attempt the service stop...linux is moving nowhere. Ctrl+c'd and tried just the reboot command...posted the restart message and going nowhere. Something has to be off with the VM.
