I understand, but in my case using the virtual machine is not an option due to company policies, and the server cannot be formated and reinstalled again because it has another software installed.
Do you have any ideas as to way the front end is not communicating with the back end ???

I forgot this post, and I'm replying in case it helps some one else. The problem was with the pear installation, I was installing another template, it has to be the one listed on the 1-preresqs, after installing the right template it worked fine.
