Re: XI 5.5.0 / 5.5.1 - Unable to update components or config
Tonight was patching night, so I did the usual yum update on the system. After it rebooted, I figured I'd give it another shot. Lo and behold, it worked this time. I had tried rebooting before, wondering if something had a file locked or similar, but it didn't work then. I cannot figure out why, but...

Re: XI 5.5.0 / 5.5.1 - Unable to update components or config
Are you seeing any errors in /var/log/httpd/error_log when you try to update? Please PM me a copy of your system profile. It is available under Admin -> System Config -> System Profile -> Download System Profile. In /var/log/httpd/error_log: None shown when attempting to update components. When att...

XI 5.5.0 / 5.5.1 - Unable to update components or config wiz
RHEL 6.10 Nagios XI 5.5.0 or 5.5.1 Since upgrading to 5.5.0 and now 5.5.1, I'm unable to update any components or config wizards. Clicking "Install Updates" shows the pop up and it says "Installation Complete!" but it still says it needs updated. I also tried manually downloading...

RESOLVED: Active Checks Not Working w/ Service Dependencies
Hello, We are running Nagios XI 5.4.3 on RHEL 6.8 64-bit. I've noticed an issue today, but am not sure if it's related to the upgrade to 5.4.3. Many of our active checks are not updating. By this, I mean the last checked time is old and the next check time simply keeps moving ahead in time. Issuing ...

XI 5.2.5 - Hostgroup Commands no longer working
CentOS 7.2.1511 with NagiosXI 5.2.5 I noticed after the 5.2.4 or 5.2.5 upgrade, issuing commands against a hostgroup no longer work. Sorry I cannot be more clear about which patch caused it. For example, if I select a hostgroup and issue "schedule downtime for all services" and check the H...

Re: Installation instruction for XI on CentOS 7?
I just installed NagiosXI 2014R2.7 on CentOS 7 and it went fairly smooth. The only issue now is NagiosXI has an alert stating the database backend is not running, when in fact it is.
My guess is the dashboard is looking for MySQL and CentOS only provides MariaDB.

Re: Top 5 Memory n Cpu Consuming Process
SNMP queries still seem to go through, but MS protocols are hosed.

Re: Top 5 Memory n Cpu Consuming Process
I am in the same boat. I have a Windows server that I monitor CPU usage via SNMP. When a high CPU condition exists, the server becomes unresponsive to Windows protocols (WMI, RDP, etc). So, I am trying to write an event handler that dumps the top processes sorted by CPU usage. I need to do this via ...
