I found the problem, it was hanging onto host therefore it could not be deleted.

Hi, Yes thats correct, after i log in Nagios, i navigate to CCM, log in there - then click on host group - search for the host - click delete - it deletes successfully (no errors) upon applying this config it gives the error: Applying Configuration Command submitted for processing...
