Re: Web server broken
Okay, now that I'm actually *awake* let's provide you with some more information. Latest version of Nagios XI, running on CentOS, using the VMWare image provided. No special configurations. I am seeing errors in the httpd log: [Thu Nov 13 09:38:02 2014] [error] [client ::1] PHP Warning: mysql_pconne...

Web server broken
I found my Nagios web interface broken last night. Nagios is still running, but I can't get to the web interface. As far as I know, the only changes that occurred was the Nagios VM being moved to new hardware with VMotion. No IP addresses changed or anything like that. I tried rebooting the system, ...

No, we have not. I did not know that option was available.abrist wrote:Have you taken advantage of quickstart as of yet? (1 hour remote session and call with a support tech to help you through any questions you may have with your eval)

Re: "Apply Configuration" not having an effect?
Unfortunately, I am not a current customer. We *are* going to purchase a support contract very soon, but that has not happened yet.abrist wrote:Are you a current customer? If so, open a ticket by sending an email to xisupport@nagios.com. I would like to move this to a remote for a fast resolution.

"Apply Configuration" not having an effect?
Some of my services in the Configure view are showing in red, saying "not applied, Apply Configuration for changes to take effect". I hit Apply Configuration, get an OK result (green exclamation marks, saying my config is good and Nagios has been restarted), However, when I go into the Con...

Re: check_by_ssh failing
Nevermind. Found the problem.
See, if you fumble-finger the IP address in the Nagios host definition, the remote system you're actually hitting doesn't have your SSH keys, so the Nagios commands don't work. Who'd've thought it...

check_by_ssh failing
I'm attempting to do a check_by_ssh check on an AS400 system. Running the command from the command line (as nagios user) works: [nagios@nagios ~]$ /usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_by_ssh -l NAGIOS -H XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX -C "/home/NAGIOS/check_as400_cpu.pl -w 50 -c 90" CPU OK: CPU usage at 2.7%....
