Upgrade Nagios XI VM from 5.2.7
We are running the Nagios image for 5.2.7. Are there instructions for upgrading it to 5.8 available somewhere? We are in a very restricted network with limited Internet connectivity so this may have to be done manually. Thanks.

Re: Grafana: Internal Server Error
I executed the mysqlcheck command and it completed successfully. Checked the number of connections and the max allowed was still at 151 but the max used reported 152 for some reason so I went through the process and increased the number to 1000. I have not setup the monitoring service yet but I will...

Re: Grafana: Internal Server Error
Done. No change in behaviour.
Is there a way I can replicate the Grafana query from the browser window directly into pnp4nagios to see what that returns?

Re: Grafana: Internal Server Error
Did as you suggested and still no change. The error of Internal Server Error persists.
Also, rebooted server and still the same.

Grafana: Internal Server Error
Hello, I followed the guide listed in this KB article https://support.nagios.com/kb/article/nagios-xi-using-grafana-with-existing-performance-data-805.html and everything was going well until I tried to create a dashboard + graph. It lets me select the host and service but when I select the label, t...

Re: Service Contact Inherited from Host Contact?
@rkennedy Thanks for your reply. I feared that was going to be the only solution. The problem is that this situation happens for 14 services and about 12 different contacts. Creating service definitions specific to each contact will increase the number of service definitions from 14 to 168 and a cha...

Re: Service Contact Inherited from Host Contact?
@avandemore, thank you for taking the time to answer my question. I have setup the notification options for each of the contacts as needed. The problem is that I want different contacts to be notified for the same service alert depending on the host. The service does not seem to know that the hosts ...

Service Contact Inherited from Host Contact?
Is there a way to make services associated with a host use the contacts defined with that host as opposed to or in addition to the ones defined in the service? In my situation I have multiple hosts, each with a POC (contact) that is responsible for them. I define the contact as part of the host defi...
