Scott, I am hanging my head in shame. I am so very sorry that I posted such a obvious problem. I completely overlooked that fact that I installed the wrong EPEL when I built this system. That was 100% the problem. When I removed the el5 repo and added the el6 repo the installation went just fine. Ag...
