Re: WMI Unknown

According to the client, there's been no change in AD. Oddly enough, Nagios can still monitor the explorer.exe process...it just can't monitor anything else.

Switching from SNMPv2 to SNMPv3

Hi all. The majority of the network devices Nagios is currently monitoring is done over SNMPv2. My client is reconfiguring CiscoWorks to communicate with these devices over SNMPv3. Are there any big hurdles to switch Nagios from using SNMPv2 to SNMPv3? Do I need to install anything to make this happ...

Re: Attempting to monitor Avaya Servers

Our client has a direct line to Avaya through contracts and such, so I'm hoping we can make this work. It'd look great on our company's resume if we did... I'll keep this thread posted on any updates.

So the .backup files are the same as the originals -There was no .conf in libexec/ so I copied it from the configwizard directory to li...

Re: WMI Unknown

I was looking for clarification because I have several hundred servers being monitored with WMI. However, I only ran one through the config wizard and then applied those config files to a hostgroup. I know how to run the wizard...but that's obviously not doable with this amount of devices.

Re: WMI Unknown

By re-run the wizard, you mean re-upload the WMI wizard, correct?

Re: WMI Unknown

Is the removal of those files something that I should run through change control? i.e. will deleting those files stop the WMI monitoring?
