Hello,
I run into some problem with my nagios plugin script. My nrpe is installed in xinetd. The plugin is in perl. However, nagios3 only catches exit(0), which is OK. When it exit(2), nagios3 does not catch it. Does anyone run into the same problem?
Thanks,
Stephanie

Return code of 127 is out of bounds - plugin may be missing
Hi, I was setting up nrpe on a group of clients servers. Everything went well until I restart nagios3 on the monitor server. All the existing client servers work well in green but suddenly turned red with error 'Return code of 127 is out of bounds - plugin may be missing'. On the monitoring server, ...

Re: /lib64/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.14' not found
Hi Spenser,
Please find the attached log. Basically the glib is version 2.12, and I want to reinstall my nrpe which is compiled/built against 2.12 instead of 2.14, but no idea which release version I shall download and install. Thank you a lot for helping for find the right one.
Thanks,
Stephanie

Re: /lib64/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.14' not found
Thanks for the confirm, I was running the install through rpms on both monitoring server and the client servers. When I run the echo four statements, I got a ton of output. However, the last ldd output is as below and this is in line what my problem is. Shall I uninstall nagios from the client serve...

/lib64/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.14' not found
Hello, I'm doing a batch install of Nagios on Linux (Centos 6.5). After installation I got the error '/lib64/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.14' not found (required by /usr/lib/nagios/plugins/check_disk)'. I updated yum and reinstall glibc, glib-devel, but still not got any update, and my /lib64/libc.so...

Re: Stop Receiving Nagios Notification Lately
Hi slansing , You are right. It's something configuration changed on the mail server side and now it's fixed. Thanks a lot for the help! Stephanie So it certainly looks like they are leaving the Nagios server, I would start looking at your relay/smtp server or anything between nagios and your inbox ...
