Re: Redundant Nagios Server Setup Fail
UPDATE: Looks like the nagios and nagiosql users were not in the MySQL database. With that fixed, I've got another problem: [Thu Nov 30 10:32:08 2017] [error] [client XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX] PHP Warning: ldap_bind(): Unable to bind to server: Invalid credentials in /usr/local/nagiosxi/html/includes/compone...

Redundant Nagios Server Setup Fail
I'm trying to build a redundant Nagios XI server that we can use as a manual failover to our production server. Once it's configured, I plan on shutting down Nagios XI on it and just have MySQL running as a slave server. In the event of our primary server failing, I would re-IP the standby box to th...

Re: No servers have checked in with data yet. :(
highness And I suppose if you click on the system status menu in the left column there will be all green checkmarks as well? Please make sure that Enable this server is checked in the fused server menu. Yes, I did all that prior to posting my 2nd reply. Everything looked great and everything was gr...

Re: No servers have checked in with data yet. :(
This was a clean install and is on a standalone VM. It was working for a couple of months, but recently quit working.
I do get two (2) green checks when I click on the Test Fusion Settings.

No servers have checked in with data yet. :(
Got this message for both of my fused servers (Nagios XI 5.2.6 - both servers). Rebooted the fusion server (Fusion 4.0.0). Checked again. No joy. Deleted the servers and re-added them. Checked again. No joy. Test Fusion Settings both return green check marks. Yet, I'm seeing this: ==> /usr/local/nag...

Re: Custom install & Why postgres ?
It's still in the works. We're in the "beta" phase currently, but I do not have a concrete release date at this time other than to say that we're still working out the kinks and that MySQL will be used in the new version. It's been a few months since this reply was posted. Is there any up...

Re: Unable to add / clone any hosts
Can you apply configuration successfully in general? Yep, without any problems. Do you see any config errors when you run the "Config File Management" tool? Checked 11778 services. Checked 1925 hosts. Checked 528 host groups. Checked 19 service groups. Checked 227 contacts. Checked 2 cont...

Unable to add / clone any hosts
I went to add some new hosts to our Nagios XI 5.4.3 instance. The clone wizard allows me to clone the chosen host, but after the apply, the host doesn't appear. If I look in /usr/local/nagios/etc/import, I see the configuration file sitting in that directory (along with a temporary configuration fil...

Re: Errors in /var/log/httpd/error_log
Did you restart the Apache process? Are they coming in as PHP Notices or PHP Warnings? I restarted apache via service httpd restart but we're still seeing this: [Tue May 16 09:41:25 2017] [error] [client 10.71.17.57] PHP Notice: Undefined variable: searchstring in /usr/local/nagiosxi/html/includes/...
