I'm using Qmail for one. For some reason I get the alerts in the nagios logs, but I never get the email. I'm lost. I can see the alerts hit the logs on the nagios server but I don't get any emails. Okay, I finally got it all working. My cfg files weren't setup properly. I see my hosts now, but I don't get emails when I reboot one of the hosts. I see it red and down but no email. Now what?
