Thank you.
I figured it was something really simple. It's been years since I've added new plugins, and I obviously forgot that part.
I really appreciate your prompt response.

Nagios Exchange Plugin Installation
Hello, I'm rebuilding our primary Nagios server from scratch. The platform is Debian-9.11 (when will 10.x be supported?), and I've installed the base OS and the current version of Nagios XI (5.6.8). Everything is working fine except I cannot use plugins from Nagios Exchange. I've downloaded them usi...

Re: Backend database shows as not running
Hello,
Just a note, I was unable to log back into the NagiosXI web interface after the recent upgrade, and had to reset the nagiosadmin password in order to access the website.

Re: Backend database shows as not running
Hello, I have sent you a copy of my profile. I also attempted to send a copy of upgrade.log, but your PM system does not allow me to include more than one attachment per post. It also would not allow me to send you a second PM, saying I'm not permitted to send one so soon after the first one. I shal...

Backend database shows as not running
Hello, I'm working with our backup Nagios XI server, which we usually don't pay much attention to. It's located in a remote data center and we need it now to monitor the data center where the primary Nagios XI server resides. The machine is running CentOS Linux release 7.1.1503 (Core) and Nagios XI ...

Re: High load after upgrade to 5.4.2 - large # of cron jobs
Thanks for the quick answer! Permissions seems to be the culprit - I'm sorry I didn't check on that before posting here. I've fixed permissions and the load is steadily dropping - it's at 28.90 right now, down from over 60. # ls -l /usr/local/nagios/var/ total 15440 drwxrwxr-x. 2 nagios nagios 81920...

Re: High load after upgrade to 5.4.2 - large # of cron jobs
Sent. I'm sorry, I don't recall what version the old machine was running prior to the upgrade. It was recent, but not the immediately previous version. Automatic updates were not working, and I skipped a minor version or two before performing a manual upgrade. I did run the repair_databases.sh scrip...

Re: High load after upgrade to 5.4.2 - large # of cron jobs
Hi,
To be very clear, I installed CentOS 7 in a VM and installed NagiosXI on that - I did not install a VM image. I needed a custom filesystem layout to facilitate backups.
Cheers!
