When i close it, it becomes green.
does that mean we lost the data on that day?

cluster status is red
we have three instances and after migrate the data to another drive due the old drive is almost full, the cluster status is red and there are two Initializing Shards and two unassigned shards. how can i solve it?

oh, seems after migrate database, it said Waiting for Database Startup It looks like your local elasticsearch service is starting. Why am I getting this error? Elasticsearch can take a little while to start up because of it's indexing. This may take a few seconds. The page will refresh automatically...

i have moved the document to another location and then change DATA_DIR. However, after i moved, i cannot login to nagios log server. it said "The username specified does not existed". thanks.

what to be done if nagios log server is almost full
Hi,
we have deployed three nagios log servers and now the disk will be full soon. what is the best solution to add space to it?
can we add volume and then copy old data volume for each servers?

8G ram
HD: 100G, SATA
log per day: 4G so far
all 4 nodes running logstash and elasticsearch.
after i reboot nodes then it receives log again.

logstash not receiving logs
sometimes, we cannot receives log. after we restart logstash and elasticsearch, the log incomed immediately. thanks.
