Re: Monitoring Network Switch Errors and Discards

Umm.. No. For whatever reason I clicked on the second link and bypassed the first. Thanks for keeping me in check. Agree there is lots of helpful info there.

Re: Monitoring Network Switch Errors and Discards

Hi netonoshana,

That tool looks like it would work. Not sure if you are related to the developer or not, but other then the help there isn't much in English, which would be useful. Especially their howto deck they have.

Regardless, I think this is worth looking at.

Thanks a lot.

Monitoring Network Switch Errors and Discards

I'm looking to setup some monitoring of error/discards on some critical interfaces between switches. In the past I have used the "Network Switch/Router" config wizard to get status and bandwidth. I'm wondering if there is an equivalent way to setup monitoring errors/discards for the same i...

Manually Delete Scheduled Backups

Is there a manual/cli method to delete backups scheduled via the UI? We are having an issue with the php ssh module and want to stop the backups from occurring. Because of the issue with the module we are unable to get to the page and delete the backup schedule.

Thanks,

Geoff

Re: Upgrading PHP version used in XI

Do you guys have a working Centos 7 nagiosxi platform? It says it is supported but there isn't much other info. All this troubleshoting leads me to believe it is listed as supported but not really tested that well.

Re: Upgrading PHP version used in XI

To try to identify where the problem is (Centos 7 or NagiosXI) I did a fresh O/S image as well as a fresh nagiosxi install. I added a single snmp host via the switch configuration wizard to monitor interface bandwidth and see the results. It has been monitored for approximately 45 and get's the foll...

Re: Upgrading PHP version used in XI

Unfortunately this did not work. The strange thing is that the status says "Ok - Current BW in: 0Mbps Out: 0Mbps", and the graph shows a flat line after I migrated to the new nagios server. But the graph shows data for the last check. See screenshots.
