Okay so NLS is on a another site behind a VPN, the servers its connecting too have internal addresses and NAT Virtual IP's to the outside work, the ones giving the default addresses should with be 10.0.x.x or 31.x.x.x addresses

Configuration help

Hi Everyone,

I'm just trailing LS and have a interesting issue, all my logs are coming from 169.254.1.1 (host) but the logsource is the server name! Can i sort this out? Also is there a way to add devices manually?

Sorry my mistake, the server is running a zabbix proxy on it and nothing else;

[root@proxy1 ~]# getenforce
Disabled

Hello Everyone, I've just installed a clean build of LS and it's stuck on the; Waiting for Database Startup It looks like your local elasticsearch service is starting. Why am I getting this error? Elasticsearch can take a little while to start up because of it's indexing. This may take a few seconds...

Yes but theirs was full screen wide, so you could see it from across the room

looks like you didn't add the user/password to the command. What is the command you ran? In our example earlier we showed /usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_mysql -H x.x.x.x -u <username> -p <password> -d <dbname> I just want to check if mysql is running rather than a particular database
