REST API Not Found
Hello, I've recently enabled my NagiosXI implementation to use SSL via the documentation here: https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nagiosxi/docs/Configuring-SSL-with-Nagios%20XI.pdf When attempting to access the REST API via HTTPS I now get a 404 not found - when I access the REST API via HTTP I get...

Hey this thread can be closed, we're going to try using NRDP going forward.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Xinetd NSCA issue
Hey, What about NRDP? Reading this link: https://exchange.nagios.org/directory/Addons/Passive-Checks/NSCA--2D-Nagios-Service-Check-Acceptor/details it seems this user had other issues with NSCA and suggested people use NRDP instead. Current NagiosXI documentation suggests using NSCA for passive chec...

Re: Xinetd NSCA issue
Hey,
Our NagiosXI server is running on SSD's, certainly not quite as fast as memory but disk IO is still pretty good. What about running NSCA as a standalone daemon, wondering if maybe it's an issue with xinetd failing to get the signal to end the nsca process.

Re: Passive Checks Performance Graphing
Hey, this can be closed.
Seems there was a general graphing issue regardless of active/passive check. This was resolved and the passive checks I have are now being graphed. Lesson here being not to become too fixated on one single issue
Thanks for your time and help.

Re: Xinetd NSCA issue
It's quite possible it's a connection limit, we have hundreds if not 1000 service checks coming in via NSCA. I have bundled the requested information but it's too large to attach on the board, I've PM'd you a URL you can use to access the data.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Xinetd NSCA issue
Hello,
After replacing the nsca binary with the updated one provided it seems the issue is still occurring. Could this simply be a capacity issue? We have passive checks coming in from thousands of different services.

Re: Passive Checks Performance Graphing
Hey,
We are just using built in graphing, we're running Nagios version 5.2.9. If it helps to narrow down your search the one host/service check I'm trying to graph from is named 'STOR-01A'.
Cheers!
