we use Nagios3

i am a linux and nagios newb so any help would be greatly appreciated

I have since reinstalled an earlier version of Nagios and is working. I am using ubuntu. i know i didnt mention my install configuration in my original post but would be helpful to know in future if i come to reinstall again. Is this not a debian command. would this work Ubuntu? Thank you for respon...

thank you i appreciate you responding. i did try the sugegsted and it didnt work however i reinstalled with nagios3 (rather than 4) and it works fine
