Yep...that's what I did.
Unfortunately...I cannot even go the "install old version and upgrade" route as someone let our support contract expire.
The upgrade scripts check that.
Thanks for your help.

Re: Manage Users: Unknown column 'login_attempts'
The "restore" only restored the configs and database... I can "upgrade" even though the binaries and everything else is the latest version? Also, can I do a "jump upgrade" from 5.2.3 all the way to 5.4.12? (This would be great...I am not looking forward to tossing the i...

Re: Manage Users: Unknown column 'login_attempts'
That's what I was afraid of.
Upgrading the "old" one isn't an option, so I guess I am going to have to try installing 5.2.3 on the NEW server, restore the data then upgrading.
Ugh.

Manage Users: Unknown column 'login_attempts'
Hello Everyone, I am attempting to split our Nagios monitoring infrastructure, so I figured the easiest way to accomplish this would be to build the new servers, install the latest version of NagiosXI and restore from a nagios backup of the other system. Then go through and remove what I do not want...

Re: Dashboards Disappear for Individual User
So...even though the dashboard is defined and exists in the database...there is no way to reconnect to it?

Re: Dashboards Disappear for Individual User
I was thinking the same thing, however we do not have "a lot of dashboards" by any definition of "a lot." We have *maybe* 10-20 dashboards. My biggest issue, is that the dashboard is still there, defined in the database, yet I cannot recover access to it. If it was one that I had...

Re: Dashboards Disappear for Individual User
Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce the error at will. I haven't figured out the magic sequence of events that cause it. I know that the Dashboards are still there, but they are not accessible by the user (me in this case). Attached is the output from the mysql command you asked me to run. Thanks! -Em...

Dashboards Disappear for Individual User
I've seen several similar posts like this, but I don't think they are exactly the same issue. I am running Nagios XI v5.2.3, and three times now I have been either creating a new dashboard or editing an existing one and I suddenly lose all custom dashboards in my list. The dashboards still exist in ...

Re: Gauges and Graphs with LOWER Value Alerts
Hmmm....we are running 5.2.3
I'm guessing I should upgrade.
Thanks!

Gauges and Graphs with LOWER Value Alerts
(Not sure if that Subject accurately describes my dilemma...but here goes) My issue is pretty simple...I do an SNMP check and I want to alert if the returned value drops BELOW a certain value, so...if I am understanding the thresholds correctly: -w15: -c5: Will generate a WARNING if the value drops ...
