You mean like an "active/passive" cluster? I suppose you could, but IDK if this image set is able to do that. You would need dB replication, a "heart-beat" between the two VM's ... a lot of things. That's a whole "other country" ... but I'm just speaking from experience...

I've been poking along with this for ~1 week. I've not found any "oops's" yet. I have my system running along ok. Mine is running on my laptop, as a VM in SUN-VirtualBox. I just couldn't get it to go in VMware Player, and VMware Workstation was a "pain" ... WE have a Vspheare env...

I have the NagiosXI Server going along fine... Mostly. I had to get a copy of VMWorkstation to get it running. VMPlayer by default only does bridged networking on the VM Image. :( I had to have it running on VMWorkstation to change the NIC to local & be able to get an IP on my local subnet. So t...
