Re: FTP Backup not working
I am running version 5.6.6. I monitor 14000 services on 1700 servers. I have some custom checks that tend to break when Nagios is upgraded. I have to run the new versions through a vetting process before running it on production. I do intend to upgrade in the near future though. I was watching the c...

Re: FTP Backup not working
Are you thinking that the FTP server can't find the file because it hasn't finished compressing the files yet? This is exactly what I am saying. what lead me to this conclusion: 1 I set an automated backup to kick off at 0600. 2 I set a tail on the log using this command: tail -f /usr/local/nagiosx...

FTP Backup not working
I read a few other posts on this which I believe helped me locate the issue I am experiencing. Unfortunately, they do not cite resolution that actually works in my case. A thread mentioned an update with a bug fix, but I am running a later version, which I would assume would have the fix. (my curren...

Re: wmi_Plus Check Memory Above
Can you share that commands output with -d enabled to show the debug output? I'm wondering how -a ties into the WQL query run. This might answer your question a little better. In the code block below -a equates to ARG1, which is essentially the name of the process or processes you are looking for. ...

wmi_Plus Check Memory Above
Good Afternoon, I have to monitor processes for memory usage to ensure there is no spikes for specific services. I setup the WMI_Plus check to warn about any process exceeding 1GB of memory. The issue is when I use a '%' to catch ANY process, it includes the '_Total' value, which is ALWAYS over 1GB....

Re: Direct link to Read Only User Dashboards
Is there a particular data specification the KB site could accept without additional modules? HTML, Possibly PHP, but that may require more effort than we are willing to put into it. For now they will just have to log in. Unless someone has discovered a way to do this without having to develop anot...

Direct link to Read Only User Dashboards
We have a KB site that describes our environment to Customers with access. We would like to provide a link where the customer can see the status of the servers that support their product (and ONLY the servers that support their product.) I saw a recent post where someone set up a special account to ...
