Template could not be found

Hi all, I have set-up Nagios with some templates which all work fine. Yesterday I needed a new .cfg file in order to add more template but every-time I try to check the configuration I get the following error. Error: Template 'LOP-COU' specified in service definition could not be not found To double...

Re: check_interval and RRD graphing issue

Hi guys, thank you for your help but: "Note that the stepsize and heartbeat are set when an RRD file is created. If you change the stepsize and/or heartbeat, you must either delete the corresponding RRD file(s) so that nagiosgraph can create a new one with the new stepsize/heartbeat, or manuall...

Re: check_interval and RRD graphing issue

Hi tgriep,
yes it looks very well to be the cause of the issue here.
I will try if I can to change the parameters later on today.
It will be interesting to see if I can set the various timings to accommodate several check_interval peiods.
Thank you for your time.

Re: check_interval and RRD graphing issue

HI dwhitfield, Thank you for the reply. I am using nagiosgraph and I think the /pnp/ directory is used in pnp4nagios since I don't have that location in my installation. I have tried to run find against process_perfdata.cfg but I don't have that configuration file either, I am posting a bigger chunk...

check_interval and RRD graphing issue

Ciao Nagios people! Pitone Maledetto checking in again. I have a growing Nagios Core (4.2.1) installation and by the time I will add all the hundreds of servers that we manage it will be huge! Thank you! :D Now, cut to the chase. I have posted the same issue to the Nagiosgraph people but I f...

Re: About plugin time out state

Thanks, I have increased by 5 seconds the plugin timeout option. I have adjusted the service_check_timeout value to be greater than 5 seconds compared to in built plugin; hence Nagios will kill the plugin before the plugin itself and exit UNKNOWN (which will not notify via email). I think I will app...

Re: About plugin time out state

Hi tgriep, thank you for the reply. Why would decreasing the time out setting help? Would this not make the time out alert trigger more often? I am testing a check_ilo plugin that should also check the array/LUN statuses, I have altered said plugin to get an UNKOWN exit status at time out instead of...
