I need to migrate NagiosXI 5.6.12 on centos 6 ova to the new Nagios centos 7 ova. I understand the destination Nagios must be the same version as the source (5.6.12 in this case), and that after the restore/migration is successful I then upgrade to newest Nagios version. But first how do I downgrade...

I'm encountering the same issue with the version of MariaDB in CentOS, and used by NagiosXi, as no longer being supported. My new Xi install was just flagged by our security team for the out of date MariaDB. Does Nagios now officially support upgrading to a new/supported version of MariaDB, like 10....

With Centos changing to a streaming release, will you be changing the OVA anytime soon to Ubuntu or other distro? - Wes
