Re: Nagios 4.2.0 not working on Solaris 10
Yes...........Finally......I can confirm its working.
zombie process still exist (May be that is normal),however that doesn't shoot up CPU usage and server load.
Its running past 24hrs with no issues.
Thank you very much jfrickson.
How can I mark this discussion as 'Solved'?

Re: Nagios 4.1.1 too many zombie process and 100% cpu usage
So, does it mean I cant upgrade ndoutil if MySQL is not installed historically ?
My issue was high cpu usage and too many defunct processes.
And now I end up installing MySQL as part of ndoutil upgrade. Am I on right track?
Is there a way to skip MySQL part and upgrade ndoutil ?
Thanks,

CLIENT_REMEMBER_OPTIONS is defined in mysql_com.h. It looks like you don't have the mysql headers and libraries installed, or ./configure couldn't find them. Check config.log and look for "mysql". I could find CLIENT_REMEMBER_OPTIONS commented out in /opt/coolstack/mysql_32bit/include/mys...

Re: Nagios 4.2.0 not working on Solaris 10
Tried both but didn't help. After running with 'select', polling has been stopped (Service status not getting updated for past 1hr) and all client services shows previous time stamp. New error started to appear in /var/adm/messages, [ID 702911 user.info] wproc: 'Core Worker 13757' seems to be choked...
