Thanks for the info, any idea when we can expect support for Debian 12?

Re: Debian 10 to 11 live in place upgrade?
@cnorell understandable. So,similar to your suggestion, rather than restore to a fresh Debian 11 installation, we might as well fresh install Debian 12.
Are you aware of any issues restoring XI on a OS version jump like that?

@jsimon thank you for the insight, I'll take this into consideration prior to our next XI upgrade.

Re: Debian 10 to 11 live in place upgrade?
@gwesterman thanks for the prompt reply. Are you a community member, or Nagios staff? I ask because this was once mentioned on a support call, and the answer was no, it's not possible. I believe it had something to do with a binary compiled at install, but given your reply the restore most likely wi...

Offloaded Database moving back to Local?
Our Nagios Databases are offloaded, and over the years there have been one or two comments within support tickets that we may want to consider moving the Databases back locally to the XI Servers. Primarily, the concern is bugs and or oversights in relation to XI upgrades with offloaded DBs. Though t...

Debian 10 to 11 live in place upgrade?
Rather than opening a support ticket, the Forum may be a more appropriate to ask. With Debian 10 transitioning to EoL, is it possible to live in place upgrade Debian 10 to Debian 11 without breaking Nagios XI?

MRTG cron job mail
We are currently receiving emails from the /etc/cron.d/mrtg cron entry (Debian 10 installation) every few minutes from each of our Nagios machines. Sample headers: From: Cron Daemon <root@host.domain.com> Subject: Cron <root@host> LANG=C LC_ALL=C /usr/bin/mrtg /etc/mrtg/mrtg.cfg --lock-file /var/lib...

Re: Duplicate links for Deployed Dashboard
1. Okay, so when a change is made to a synced dashboard owned by nagionadmin, there isn't a need to re-deploy if users aren't seeing the change, rather we should instruct users to navigate off the dashboard and return by clicking the link (to reload), correct? 2. Is there a way for us to remove all ...

Duplicate links for Deployed Dashboard
When modifying a dashboard set to sync with other users, we often need to re-deploy in order for users to see the changes made. However, re-deploy then creates a duplicate link containing the old dashboard view for users under their "My Dashboards", even if you go onto the Managed Synced D...

Re: Default localhost check
No, that would blow-away a production system.
I was looking for clarification on how that localhost check was initially created. I've gone ahead and re-added it by manually comparing each service.
