I tried increasing time to 30 seconds with same issue. Also restarting the service has not changed anything. I couldn't find the nsclient log file. Could you point me to the path or how to enable verbose logging?

On a windows server We are getting more than 150 alerts everyday. It switches between: CRITICAL - Socket timeout after 10 seconds and Recovery alerts every few minutes.
