Re: check_radius.py attributes
With those changes now it doesn't throw an exception when you point to the attribute file but it doesn't seem to read the attributes or pass them with the payload. Is there a way to check or debug if it passes the attribute with the payload? I also see there must be an error with line 119. 119 ATTR_...

Re: check_radius.py attributes
Hi, No I want to pass attributes with the check_radius.py. Is there a sample file on how you edit the attribute file you pass with the the parameter -a? I want to pass the nas-ip-address. ./check_radius.py --help Usage: check_radius.py [options] Options: -h, --help show this help message and exit -V...

check_radius.py attributes
Hello, Previous versions of Nagios XI for radius checks had a plugin named check_radius_adv. This plugin check_radius_adv doesn't exist anymore in the latest version of Nagios XI. There's a new plugin named check_radius.py. I need to pass an attribute. The plugin help says you need to pass it in fil...

Re: Nagios XI creates new nsca instances with every new relo
It has nothing to do with how many hosts are sending data trough NSCA. 1. Begin with a clean scenario. 1. No nagios process running or processes with the user nagios (nagios, ndo2db, npcd, cron jobs...). 2. shutdown xinetd. 3. Start xinetd 4 Start ndo2db 5. Start nagios 6. Start npc 7. ... Now you c...

Nagios XI creates new nsca instances with every new reload
Hi, I don't understand the following behaviour with every Nagios XI reload. With every reload the nsca instances grow. The problem with this is that if you don't keep an eye it is possible to get a nsca limit and there would be a problem with passive alerts. I had this problem a few times and don't ...

Re: log_passive_checks and log_external_commands?
You can close this thread. The configuration variables work for those lines beggining with: PASSIVE SERVICE CHECK: * and EXTERNAL COMMAND: *. I would like not to log lines beggining with: External command error: Command failed Warning: Passive check result was received for service * Error: External ...

log_passive_checks and log_external_commands?
Hi, Is it possible to not log lines like PASSIVE SERVICE CHECK: * and EXTERNAL COMMAND: * in the file nagios.log? I probably misthought that this was possible with the configuration file variables log_passive_checks and log_external_commands which by default are set with a "0" value. Greet...

Can't Create Any Hosts Or Services
Moderator Edit: This thread has been split from another - https://support.nagios.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=45029 In the future, please create a new thread and link to the old one instead of adding on. Has this PHP errors been fixed? Likely we have the same sort of kind problem. Most of the...
