i have installed Nagios 4.4.9 sur linux Kali(Debian)
i want to do "discovery Network" .
is it possible with Cacti?
whether yes it it possible to connect Cacti and Nagios to build automatically "Nagios Host" file?

Hi, i have installed a kalli I use linux server behind a switch behind a OPNsense system and behind my Box. I have perfectilly installed Nagios Core on my kali linux i used the book "NAGIOS 9 editions PacktLIB. now i want to install the web Gui and i don't know how to continue; i found differen...

i mean that i don't want necessarly to see all alerts if any are dependant from others.
exemple:
i have a LAN with 25 computers hen the router downs, i don't want to see all hosts down
i want to be able to launch scripts or others commands on receiving some kind of alert

i'm new in nagios and i'd like to know whether the source code is totally free. can i download it and modify it for my personnal utilisation?
this seems to be possible with Nagios Core doesn't it?

is there a correlation engine in Nagios?
