Re: Collapsing hostgroups
Sorry, I cannot post the data (since it included internal hostnames). However, I found existing images from the web... Take this one for example, rather than showing "Servers (all-hosts) with all the hosts under it, I'd like to see just 1 line. Then, the user could click on it to see the full l...

E.g. hostgroup_name GroupA - member 1 ... - member 10 hostgroup_name GroupB - member 1 ... - member 20 hostgroup_name GroupC - member 1 ... - member 30 Is there a way to collapse each list so that one wi...

Change of hostgroups.cfg without restarting nagios
If I changed the cfg files in objects/ (e.g. hostgroups.cfg), is there a way to make nagios pick up the config changes without restarting the nagios service? The server is running RHEL7. Using the unit file below. [Unit] Description=Nagios Network Monitoring After=network.target Documentation=https:...

Re: Whoops! Error: Could not read host and service
Fixed:
Apache does not know the location of the cgi.cfg since it's not in the default location as expected by Nagios.
Added env var NAGIOS_CGI_CONFIG with the new location.

Re: Nagios Core: Disabling External Javascripts?
Disabling page tour isn't an option in 4.3.4, but modifying main.php and map.php helped.
