Re: Null contact prevents inheritance of contact groups
The only change I made between the two profiles was to the cpu_stats.cfg service definition. They yum check service is actually meant not to send notifications so thats not a good example. One to compare the cpu stats against would be the check_mem. The mem check does not contain the null in the con...

Null contact prevents inheritance of contact groups
Hello all, A quick desciption of my setup: 1. All hosts get a standard set of service checks 2. These service checks are setup as generic services and are assigned to a hostgroup (i.e service_hg) 3. The hosts get these service checks by having the service_hg assigned to it in it's host definition 4....

Email now being sent in HTML since update to 5.5.7
A few days ago I upgraded from 5.5.5 (or maybe 5.5.4) to 5.5.7. After that update email notifications sent using the following command are now being sent as HTML instead of plain text. How do I change things to get plain text messages sent again. I've attached my system profile.
Thanks,
Bob Jones

Re: CCM Limited Not Inheriting from Host Groups
Might I request that this feature be considered as an option. If you allowed this sort of inheritence you would basically have the ability to have multiple tenants. As long as objects were kept completely seperate at the initial setup, only a full admin would have the ability to cross the streams pe...

CCM Limited Not Inheriting from Host Groups
Hello again. Now that I have the errors I was encountering with XI after upgrading dealt with, I'm encountering what I can only assume is an error in the permissions logic. One of the big features we are wanting to make use of in 5.5 is the ability to have a limited role inside of CCM. I have been p...

Re: Users in Manage Users all have same info as newly added
Okay, you can lock this topic. It was a weird interaction with the LastPass browser plugin that was overwriting the form fields even though I show no saved form data and have that functionality turned off. It's not a Nagios XI issue. Thanks for the help.

Re: Users in Manage Users all have same info as newly added
I updated the subject to try to be more descriptive of the problem I am facing as I can't move forward with using XI 5.5 in production until this issue is resolved.

Users in Manage Users all have same info as newly added user
Hello. I recently upgraded Nagios XI from 5.4.13 to 5.5.1. After the update I had some /etc/sudoers issue that I have finally worked out. However, during the period where things were a little screwy I added a user named bobtest. This user works without issue. However, when I click on the name of any...

Re: Apply Configuration fails after update to 5.5.1
Okay, did some more digging and found that there were no NAGIOSXI entries in sudoers. I copied them over from the xi-latest tarball and things appear to be working correctly again. Thanks for the help.
