I have checked the folder: /usr/local/nagios/var and could not find the following files:
perfdata.log file or a npcd.log
Also i would like to tell you my Problem is that Service-perfdata is consuming lot of Space.
How to trim this file and keep under control.

I am using the Nagios Core version 4.4.5 . We are monitoring around 510 Hosts and 3100 Services. Can you please do let me where RRD files are located? But my space concern is related to the file(service-perfdata) because this single file is consuming the 25 GB Space. Currently i have stopped process...

Service PerfData is consuming lot of space
"service-perfdata" file is consuming the space of 25 GB.
this file is located in the folder "/usr/local/nagios/var" .
is there a way to trim this file? Like Purge the Old data or move Old data to some other place.

I resolved it there were lot of packages were missing.
One After Another, i had to install the multiple packages.
Is there a way to avoid such situations, so that i do not get into such situations again.
