I had a V2 nagios server that crashed and have installed nagiosxi but have run into problems importing my old configuration files - i.e. I have four copies of some services in each host, etc. I'd like to just roll back to empty and go with the static method. I just checked with the guy who runs the other functions and as as they feed off the nagios database tables we can back everything up and rebuild the server if it really makes that much of a difference, I've seen this warning on most of the nagios discussions I've found so I guess it must be an issue.

It's a cloud server and has other functions so I can't flush it.
I have saved the configuration files for reference and I have several backups.
