Re: Maps Organisation in Nagvis Overview
Hi,
Thank for responding to me.
I've already seen automaps based on hierarchical relations, but that doesn't exactly fit my needs...The customer wants standard maps with background images representing his network...

Maps Organisation in Nagvis Overview
Hello,
I’ve started using Nagvis a few weeks ago, and I’m still seeking for a way to organise the maps in the Overview menu.
Indeed, by now the maps are mixed alltogether, at the same hierarchical level.
I wish I could organise them better, grouped by sites, customers, etc…
Thanks for help…

Re: Nagvis Failure : on-demand-filter headertemplate
Hi, I finallly found a way to solve the problem. It sounds a little bit as a makeshift job, but it helped to fix the issue... I modified the code of the /srv/eyesofnetwork/nagvis-1.8.5/share/frontend/nagvis-js/classes/NagVisHeaderMenu.php file, at line 278, in order to not enter in the beneath block...

Nagvis Failure : on-demand-filter headertemplate
Hi, I changed my Nagvis General configuration today, by setting the header template (in Overview Page). I replaced "default" by "on-demand-filter". Now, each time I launch Nagvis, I got this : Error: (0) Undefined index: backend_id (/srv/eyesofnetwork/nagvis-1.8.5/share/frontend/...

Re: Perfdata and Mod_Gearman
I found the solution. There was no pnp specific worker launched.
Just have to launch the pnp_worker_gearman service, and everything's back to normal...

Perfdata and Mod_Gearman
Hello, After using Nagios core to check hosts and services, with PNP4Nagios to get all kind of graphs, I've configured it to work with Mod_German. All works well, and even if all the perfdata are in the PNP4NAgios graphs, when I run the gearman_top command , according to the perfdata entry there is ...

Re: Mode Gearman
Thanks for responding... I have two additional demands : - Does anybody know the average number of metrics I can monitor on a raspberry (Pi 3 1gb/16gb), without overload issues ? - Is there somewhere any documentation about the way mode gearman encrypt datas. Is this a light or heavy encryption meth...

Re: Mode Gearman
Ok now I think it's completly clear ! Thanks a lot for your help. Now I'm trying to install a worker on a centOS virtual host. But when issuing the command "yum install mod-gearman-worker", I get a "No available packets" message. If ever, does somone know on which repository I ca...

Re: Mode Gearman
Ok, I understand. This means that I can have several hosts with a same private IP address in my Nagios hosts' configuration. Just have to take care that they are in different hostgroups, and each hostgroup handled by a different worker. But this means, as hosts configuration is centralized on the Na...
