How monitor NFS mounted with NCPA
Hello, I've recently been asked to setup NFS monitoring on our machines. All of our hosts use NCPA to check everything and while it's easy to check the path and disk space that would not help me if the mount was no longer active I don't think. I want to be alerted if the mount is dropped or say if t...

Re: Unable to download components. Proxy connection fail.
Here is the output, it looks like invalid user and group? The installation was done from the VMware OVA. PROCESS COMMAND: CMD=1131, DATA=a:1:{i:0;a:2:{s:4:"name";s:15:"bandwidthreport";s:3:"url";s:80:"https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nagiosxi/components/xi57/ban...

Re: Unable to download components. Proxy connection fail.
I ran the command and I can connect to it. The system is directly connected to the Internet. [root@apim-nagiosxi ~]# curl -k -L -v https://assets.nagios.com * About to connect() to assets.nagios.com port 443 (#0) * Trying 72.14.181.71... * Connected to assets.nagios.com (72.14.181.71) port 443 (#0) ...

Unable to download components. Proxy connection fail.
Installation type: VMware, OVA OS: CentOS7 Version: 5.7.3 I had this issue as well on my old, CentOS6 OVA installation and was hoping part of the switch to CentOS7 would correct it but it persists. The system is working otherwise just fine, all checks are being made and everything is green. However,...

Re: VM Status for VMHost Timeout
Thank you. There's something all this about reading a manual, which I should have done better.
I'm going to redeploy the OVA to keep it all clean and download 6.5 of the SDK.
Thank you

VM Status for VMHost Timeout
I finally was able to find time to move our Nagios XI from the CentOS6 to CentOS7 OVA. I did a backup of the 6.x OVA and installed the 7.x OVA and restored and everything at first appeared to look great. I installed the VMware-vSphere-Perl-SDK-6.7.0-8156551.x86_64.tar.gz to get VMware working but si...

Message size exceeded buffer maxMsgSize
Since my upgrade to 5.5 which was successful I'm getting this error on various checks: ERROR: Description/Type table : Message size exceeded buffer maxMsgSize. This is happening on Disk Usage, Memory Usage and Swap usage atm. I can swear I had this fixed in the earlier version but the upgrade must h...
