I did search on net for this issue. I found that if I could manage to install net-snmp version 5.8, it gives AES192 and AES256 protocol support. The thing is , last rpm package only available is 5.7 for CentOS 7. I would like to ask, if I could compile source code net-snmp 5.8 then what will you sug...

So what will be solution if we need to add 80 to 100 switches and have Vlans configure on it do we need to go to each switch and do manually input the port nos whoch are displaying the 7 digits this will be a long exercise and customer is not happy and they wants some alternate solution for this, ap...

He already has demo running in his environment of solarwind, he is comparing all the things with it. I have added few switches on NagiosXI using N/W switch and router wizard. All switches giving me same trouble that adding hundreds of ports (7 digit vlan and phy. ports) after scanning and some giving mrtg graph and some are not even port is active and traffic is passing. what I want is, monitoring ...

hi GoodMorning, You was right , i found Vlans defined on switch through snmpwalk and same port numbers what wizard has scanned , those r vlans portnumber in 6 or 7 digits. But, my problem is I dont want this port no , I want phy. port number in serial i mean 1234...24, even added 7 digits port numbe...

wizard based add new switch scaned some ports wrong

hi ,
i have added a new switch using n/w switch/router wizard, it auto scanned and display some wrong port numbers, 1 to 14 are ok but rest are showing port number in 7 digits, i dont know why.

kindly suggest solution , highly appreciated

Add new switch display some wrong port numbers

I have added new switch using nagios wizard n/w switch
/router before finish , nagios xi scan n display ports of switch, but 1 to 14 ports are ok but after dis rest r in 7 digits which is wrong.
