I removed the hosts and now another service is failing with the similar messages. I think we're not getting anywhere with this. Can you please advise me the procedure to export the current data and then import it on a new Nagios XI instance? I'm thinking of creating a new Nagios XI 5.5.x instance an...

Yes all 4 hosts are active!
As I've said before all of these services are working in Nagios XI 5.2.7. We're seeing these issues only once Nagios XI is upgraded to 5.5.1.
