Re: Nagios XI 2024 PHP 8.2
Thanks for sharing your experiences, everyone. I’m planning to upgrade Nagios XI 2024 to PHP 8.2 as well, so it’s helpful to know it might work even if it’s not officially supported yet. I’ll make sure to snapshot my system and check the logs carefully after the upgrade. Please let us know how it g...

Re: Nagios XI 2024 PHP 8.2
I'd like to know how you did the upgrade, what system/distro you are running on and if you've uncovered any issues. Also, if anyone else has successfully upgraded PHP, please let me know. Thanks!

Upgrading to NRPE 4.1.3 on Nagios Server
I'm wondering if anyone has successfully upgraded from NRPE 3.2.0 to 4.1.3 on the Nagios server itself. I have upgraded all the agents without issue but need to now upgrade the Nagios server. When I tried following the same procedures, the upgrade appeared to be successful, however the server could ...

Re: Running Nagios XI without Proxy Modules
This is what I see in the ssl_access_log
xxx.xx.xxx.153 - - [21/Nov/2024:11:03:31 -0500] "GET /nagiosxi/ HTTP/1.1" 200 931
xxx.xx.xxx.153 - - [21/Nov/2024:11:03:31 -0500] "GET /favicon.ico HTTP/1.1" 404 16
The same thing shows in the network tab of the developer tool.

Running Nagios XI without Proxy Modules
I am required by STIG to disable the proxy modules in the httpd.conf. I have attempted to comment out the LoadModule statements for the proxy modules and restart Apache. However, when I do that, I can no longer access the Nagios XI UI. I get a blank screen that goes nowhere. I'm never presented the ...

Trouble Restoring to RHEL8 from RHEL7 Backup
I need some assistance doing a restore. I am running Nagios XI 2024R1.1.1 on both systems. Our prod system is on RHEL7, our test system is RHEL8. I'm trying to restore the test box from a prod box backup. This is what I get: [root@AWPPLCOLEDMOI02 ~]# /usr/local/nagiosxi/scripts/restore_xi.sh /store/...

dbmaint user is not configured after upgrade to 2024R1.1.1
We recently upgraded our RHEL8 box from 5.11.3 to 2024R1.1.1. We are not getting any updates via the Nagios XI Web GUI. However, Nagios Core is showing host and service checks all running fine. I've confirmed that apache and php are running. And I've looked through the logs. One thing I found is tha...
