Hello,
I haven't had the chance to downgrade the NDO yet. Problem is still present, but load issues seem to have dissipated.
One question:
Is this issue fixed in the new Nagios XI version (5.8.1)?
I see this version includes a new version of NDO.

XI 5.7.4 NDO3 ndo_get_object_id_name1() - name1 is null
Hello Our Nagios XI 5.7.4 has been spamming (multiple per second) the following log entry since upgrading to 5.7.4 from 5.6.x: NDO-3: ndo_get_object_id_name1() - name1 is null I have also been noticing frequent (hourly) load spikes on the server. This has caused lots of check timeouts, as well as Pa...

Re: Nagios XI no more scheduled downtimes after upgrade to 5
Hello, I've performed the truncates and other commands. After this the scheduled downtime is working as expected. New scheduled downtime as well as previously existing scheduled downtimes are displayed correctly. So that seems to have solved the problem. I'd like to test the full upgrade process aga...

Re: Nagios XI no more scheduled downtimes after upgrade to 5
Did the mysql repair and restarted.
Still no scheduled downtimes in the "scheduled downtime" section of XI.
I do however see that the required objects are in fact in scheduled downtime, it's just not visible in the scheduled downtime gui.
I sent you the logfile.

Nagios XI no more scheduled downtimes after upgrade to 5.7.4
Hello, I've tried to upgrade my Nagios XI (on a cloned vm with active checks and notifications disabled) from 5.6.12 to 5.7.4. Upgrade is successful, but afterwards all scheduled downtimes are gone in Nagios XI interface. When browsing to the nagios core, scheduled downtimes are ok. Seems to be a pr...

What happens when you enable obsessing from Nagios core GUI
Hello, We are using host/service obsessing to forward check results to another Nagios instance. I was wondering what happens when you click on for instance "Start Obsessing over this service" in the Nagios Core WebGUI. Specifically, I'm wondering if this change persists through nagios relo...

Re: First Notification Delay not working on some services
Hi Scott, These services are received from a satellite nagios. We have it set up so that first SOFT state in satellite nagios is immediately HARD in our central Nagios XI. They should all be set up as having check_interval of 5 minutes (normally). Following your logic, this should indeed never give ...
