Re: Disk Latency Monitoring using PerfMon

Decimal values are not supported. This doesn't mean your config (using .25) wont work, only that it's not officially supported. My advice would be to leave it at .25 and see if you have any issues going forward or if you get values that don't seem right.

Re: can't monitor via web browser from remote pc

Hello hardstyle247, Clearly, if you can't ping 192.168.122.124 from 10.0.10.25 but you can ping 192.168.122.124 from 10.0.12.33 then it's very unlikely that this is a firewall issue. It's much more likely to be a routing issue. Please share your rationale for such a complicated networking scheme. Al...

Re: Sent SNMP Traps from Nagios Core to other SNMP managemen

There are many plugins available for MSSQL monitoring. As for your other question, perhaps another user will chime in on integrating with the HP monitoring solutions but this is outside of the scope of Nagios support. Thank you.

Re: Nagios reporting incorrect memory information

I believe that the NSCP memory check shows Physical + Swap (pagefile) check the size of your page file to confirm.

Hello mdubey, Do I understand you correctly, you're trying to install Nagios Core 3.5.1? Is there a reason you prefer this older version over the latest version? You can install Nagios Core 3.5.1 from source if you like. Here is the source download link https://www.nagios.org/downloads/nagios-core/ ...

Re: Strange NRPE behaviour.

The script is actually working... The error you're receiving is being returned by Apache, not the script. As the error says, the script is able to connect to the web server but unable to open the /server-status page. The fact that the script returns valid data when run from the command line but not ...
