Remotely accessing statusjson API (http 401)

Hi. I've seen this issue addressed on the forum but I don't see quite the answer I'm looking for. I am trying to remotely access the Core statusjson API and am getting an HTTP 401 Unauthorized. I can get around that by coding the nagiosadmin account and password on the URL. That will never fly in my...

Re: API failing with http code 500 on Servicestatus request

I have sent in an email request for a problem ticket.
Also, the Apply Configuration appeared to work properly though it finished extremely quickly (under a minute).

Re: API failing with http code 500 on Servicestatus request

Wow. This is going from bad to worse. I just issued API deletes for all the services on a number of hosts. When I looked at a couple of servers in Home->Hosts, they showed no services under them. I then ran an Apply Config from the GUI, which completed in quite short order this time. So, I then trie...

Re: API failing with http code 500 on Servicestatus request

BTW, we are actually doing that.
The API calls are to delete all the monitored agents that have been moved.
Kind of important. Seems like a Catch-22

Re: API failing with http code 500 on Servicestatus request

So, are you saying that the API will not work under the current load and that our only option is to split into two XI servers?

Re: API failing with http code 500 on Servicestatus request

I issued all the commands and reran my code. The API told me it deleted all the services for that host. They still showed up on the XI console so I issued a manual "Apply Configuration" from CCM (which it said needed to be done). The apply has now been running for over an hour and the serv...

Re: API failing with http code 500 on Servicestatus request

Disregard above message.
I was able to zip up all but objects.cache and PM'd that to SSAX
I cannot get objects.cache to you through PM; even zipped, it's over 1MB

Re: API failing with http code 500 on Servicestatus request

When I tried to PM the profile.zip file, it failed as it is 1.6MB and the limit is 1MB
So I unzipped it and tried to send individual files but it won't let me do more than 1 file per PM
