Re: Nagios XI Notifications

Judging by the logs, there's definitely some sort of problems at least with the remote mail servers regarding message size and, prior to that, smtpauth protocols being violated. I would address those with whoever maintains the remote smtp server. In terms of the service not generating notifications,...

Re: logstash failed action with response of 400, dropping ac

Yes. You'll probably need to write a custom filter rule to properly handle the date formatting presented by these logs. We can assist with that if needed. I just want to be sure that we can at least get the logs going to the right place first.

Re: Disable notifications for a lot of contacts & contactgro

If you look further down that picture, there are options for individual users to chose what sort of notifications they receive. You can also choose which type of notifications get sent (CRITICAL vs RECOVERY vs UNKNOWN etc) on the host/service level. It's hard to say why some users get notifications ...

Re: Windows Update Check

Which NSClient++ version and Windows version are in play? Can you also share a copy of the script you're using currently? I'm going to lab this up and see if I get similar results. I wouldn't suggest making the timeout value for check_nrpe much larger than the check interval at which it is executed....

Re: PostFix mail queue monitoring

Hmm, I haven't been able to reproduce this particular issue using that script. On my remote machine: [root@localhost libexec]# ./check_postfix_queue.sh -w 100 -c 200 Number of queued messages: 200 ... # in nrpe.cfg command[check_postfix_queue]=/usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_postfix_queue.sh -w 100 ...

Re: Issue with Website Configuration Wizard

I apologize for the inconvenience. I have filed a bug report for this issue (ID 11265).

You should be able to overload the check_command inherited by the template once the wizard is finished. That would allow you to leverage a check_http command which uses the correct port.

Which contact group is it sending to?

Can we also see the corresponding contactgroup and service definitions for these escalations?

Re: Error in AWS EC2 Uubuntu Monitoring

How are you starting/stopping NRPE? It doesn't look like the init.d script exists. At any rate, I think your nrpe configuration file isn't getting picked up correctly. You'll probably need to restart the nrpe process some how to get the changes in. For whatever reason, the daemon doesn't think your ...

Re: Pre-flight error, but i cant see it :(

It looks as if the issue is that there is no Host object defined with the name "GNATBOX FTL". If that doesn't sound right, can you share your configuration set?

Re: Need some help with an Snmp Entry.

If this system is on OMD now, we cannot offer additional assistance since that's not our software. I would recommend seeking help from the OMD community in this case. I'm vaguely familiar with pyasn1, but haven't much experience with whatever mkeventd is doing.
